Uzma Sarfraz is a U.S. entrepreneur living between the Gulf and New York since 1975, with excellent political and industrial connections in the United States, Asia, and the Gulf, which she has used to facilitate opportunities for the U.S. Fortune 500 companies, think tanks and NGO.s in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Qatar, UAE., and Egypt. In the UAE., she raised capital and helped structure the program for a $200 million higher education initiative between a US Ivy League University and the oldest university in the U.A.E, funded entirely by one of the U.A.E.’s largest and most renowned conglomerates.
In Saudi Arabia, after being in the country for less than two years, she secured a $500 million domestic investment for a U.S. Fortune 500 defense company’s local manufacturing facility. Since 2017, she is based full-time in Saudi Arabia as the business development, and local manufacturing partner for Saudization and sustainability for U.S. multinationals.
