The DB ENERGY board members have over 250 years of accumulated international business experience, enabling DB ENERGY to leverage their combined entrepreneurial experience and network to open new supply channels for oil-derived products in the Gulf Region for its Chinese Partners, and other buyers.
The DB ENERGY team members have structured numerous projects between European companies and major flagship state-owned Chinese companies such as Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA), Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), XCMG Construction Machinery (XCMG), and Nanjing Iron and Steel Group (NISCO). DB ENERGY is now the lead representative in the GCC for the Chinese International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS), mandated to facilitate trade between GCC countries and established Chinese buyers.
AMIN AL ZAROONI
As the chairman of DB GROUP/JAFFAR AL ZAROONI GROUP OF COMPANIES for over 30 years, M.R. AMIN AL ZAROONI takes a vision and makes it a reality. He intuitively sees the threads of opportunity that wind through an organization, brings them together into a coherent whole, helps others extend their thinking, and drives material business advantage.
He expanded his family’s Real Estate business first throughout the U.A.E, and then globally. Having gained knowledge and expertise in this sector, Mr Amin Al Zarooni led the move towards diversifying his family business into alternative investments in the Energy sector, Oil & Gas, Defense, Agriculture, and the Mining industry.
He is an inspirational leader in Dubai who tells stories that inspire action, while at the same time being grounded in financial information that levers the business. Respected as a credible voice in the UAE among business and government leaders’ decision-making, he has a formidable performance history in finding strategic financing partners, and establishing governance boundaries.
