DR. HENRICH GUNTERMANN

Dr Guntermann is a degreed professional M.D. and MSc with more than 25 years of successful experience in the technology sector. He served between 2004 and 2012 as C.E.O. of a publicly listed tech company in North America. He is also co-founder and Managing Director of the European Consortium of Technology Transfer (ECTT S.A.) in Luxembourg with offices in Beijing and Nanjing (China).
ECTT supports European and Chinese institutions/enterprises to identify suitable partners for joint R&D, manufacturing, and marketing activities. The role of Dr. Guntermann is to mediate the contractual negotiations between the partners and to supervise the planning and execution of the respective financial transactions. He remains Vice Secretary General of the EU-China Municipal Development Commission, an N.G.O. incorporated in Brussels and operated from Beijing, China. Its core function is to support any business activities of E.U. enterprises in China by providing the necessary political liaison with central and local governments.
He serves as the E.U. representative of the Chinese International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS) in both the EU and GCC. CICCPS represents as a parent organization approximately five million Chinese private and semi-private enterprises. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Fraunhofer-Institute I.Z.I. in Leipzig, and Co-Chairman of the Jiangsu Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance, Jiangsu Province, China.
